The Department is offering Under Graduate (BE) in Computer Science and Engineering with its cohesive team of faculty members with knowledge of latest technologies, offers a sound program at the U. G. level. The department, right from its inception in 1998, has gained the recognition by the reputed software companies all over the country. The curriculum is a blend of the conventional, theoretical and practical oriented courseware to combat with the growing demands and the changing trends of the software industry and wide applications of computers at every step of our life. Core courses include Programming Languages, Computer Architecture, Microprocessor and Interfaces, System Software, Networking Technologies and Artificial Intelligence.

The fast changing scenario in the Information Technology necessitates the department to actively extend its research and development activities. The current research focus is on areas like Image Processing, Mobile Networks, Information Security, Compilers, Computer Architecture, Distributed Systems, Computational Intelligence, Data Mining, Modeling & Simulation, and Operation Research etc.
